Leading recording by Alvino Rey and His Orchestra, vocal by Rocky Coluccio (Capitol); Danny Kaye, accompanied by Billy May and His Orchestra (Decca) and Frank Loesser (Mercury).

The Merchant Plumbers Association of Los Angeles made Loesser an honorary member "for his outstanding contribution to the plumbing industry by having composed the ode to the leaky faucet, 'Bloop Bleep'" - quoted from certificate presented to Loesser and signed by W. H. Nothoff, president of the Merchant Plumbers Association of Los Angeles.
